New computer

Postby paul123 » Mon Sep 07, 2009 11:25 am

Hi Guys,

The motherboard in my computer is going out. Dell is coming out here for free to change it (good warranty) but I used this as an excuse to order a new XPS 630 desktop anyway.

My question is, What should I do differently when downloading poker sites if anything, I already have rakeback at FT so thats ok but I want it at UB just in case I ever decide to move back over there.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe ub will retag an account if you haven't played on there in a while (say six months or so). Try emailing them to tell them you are considering playing at the site again but will not do so with being able to get rakeback and ask if they can retag your account to a new affiliate. Or you can always hit up AP with rake back.

I was thinking of opening up an account at AP but didn't know if my UB account would block it. Can you have a seperate account on each site?

As far as I know, you can. I remember seeing a little thing in UB over a year ago that you could transfer funds from your UB to your AP account. This may have changed with the recent network migration but I really don't know.

Paul,

I'm pretty sure you can have 2 account if you sign up at AP. Although if you email UB they might be willing to give you RB with your affiliate to get you on the site. There customer service has been great since I've been back.

Also, the games are real juicey compared to FT and there's no short stacking scum there. It's been pretty nice actually. I think it would be a pretty transition since the players are so weak. Oh and I've been playing just 1-2 with alittle 2-4.

I'll be on aim tonight if your around.

Hey switch, when i reinstalled my PC, my MSN has removed you as your contact. If you can please tell me your MSN again, or pm as i log in, because it doesn't show you.

On Topic: Paul, did it actually work out for you?

Dell backordered the xps630 for a month so I canceled the order. I had already recieved the extra memory I wanted for the new computer and didn't return it in time so had to keep it.

Then the major suck out. Dell could not fix my old computer so decided to replace it. Low and behold, the replacement was a brand new (not refurbished) xps630 with all the bells and whistles except it only had 2 gig memory like my old one. I installed the other memory I couldn't return and now have a new $1500.00 comp that only cost me $50.00 for the memory. I love dell when you have the proper warranties.

Yah.. I've always had good experiences with DELL. Pretty tough to beat the service they provide. I'm still using an older DELL laptop but have purchased 3 more since the original and have a 17" on order currently.
nice score on the $50 investment there, lol
