How to Report a problem to Poker-Edge

Postby dmpokerplayer » Tue May 08, 2007 11:12 am

First: Browse the latest titles of the "Support" section, to see if the problem has already been reported. There may already be a work-around.
If you find a related post... reply to it and report the details of what happened to you.
Or: If no other title seems related... select "New Topic" and fill in the specifics.
Note: For problems that require immediate attention... send a detailed email to support@poker-edge.com.

Include Details: If we can reproduce the problem... we can fix it!
- Poker-Edge version# (located in the "about" screen)
- What OS (32 or 64 bit), How much mem
- Regional settings on your PC (in ControlPanel, check both system & keyboard settings)
- Security software (your firewall/anti-virus/adware/etc.)
- What type Internet connection (cable, dsl, satellite, with wireless?)
- What pokersite, cash or tourney, stake level, full or short, how many tables
- Crucial: Outline step-by-step how you get the problem to happen, so we can try to recreate it and fix it faster.
Consider a screenshot if it would seem helpful: Screenshot instructions

Example: _______________________________________________
Running PE ver 4.3.8310.11970, XP sp3, 2gb mem. English (USA),
Norton anti-virus, dsl with wireless router.
Playing $50 Full SNG on FT.
This is what happened. Blah, blah, blah. Tried it twice.
Rebooted and tried again. Re-installed PE (or poker-room) and tried again.
