POKERSTARS

Postby Chad Rea » Thu May 17, 2007 6:23 pm

DO NOT LOG INTO POKERSTARS WITHOUT HAVING LAUNCHED STARS THROUGH POKER-EDGE...or you may receive a warning from stars. PE security thwarts Stars attempts to detect... but only if you use it. If you follow this advice, you will never have any problems.

1) Pick a PE Forum username that is different from your Stars username. PokerStars security sometimes lurks in our Poker-Edge forum.
2) Stars support issues/questions will no longer be handled in the PE forum. If you have any questions or concerns, send an email to support@poker-edge.com
3) In the PE forum, exclude any mention of Stars... like when discussing poker hands and such. Posts that do mention PokerStars or Stars will in all likelihood be deleted.

Stars Usage Instructions:

1) Use PokerStars Default Theme
2) Do not use the preferred seating option or the HUD will not line up correctly
3) If you get a message that we are updating Poker-Edge for Stars, it means they updated their software client, and we won't allow access until security is verified. This usually doesn't take long...and Poker-Edge will "auto-update" itself when you launch the software when available. You can also keep track of the "downloads" page to make sure when it's released: www.poker-edge.com/download.php

LobbyEdge:
The functions of opening tables and joining waitlists for PokerStars directly from the LobbyEdge interface is not yet operational. Until "automatic seating" is added... simply open the table from PokerStar's lobby that LobbyEdge finds for you.

If you use a language other than English: If the table name and player names aren't appearing in the Lookup window, use the "English" version of PokerStars..that should be the only adjustment you need to make. However, if you're still experiencing problems after making that adjustment, also change all Regional Settings on your computer to "English (USA)" including Location and Keyboard.
